As pocket diapers, Happy Heinys are quick to dry, customizable in terms of absorption and figure lovely prints!
Product Description
Happy Heinys pocket diapers feature Daddy-approved Aplix brand hook and loop tab closure. This simple closure allows a custom fit on a wide range of babies, as well as a very fast diaper change and even for non-cloth initiates!
They are designed without leg casings which make better fitting diapers and contain messes better without leaving red marks on baby’s legs. The gentle elastic at the legs is cushioned by fleece which should roll out so that the only thing touching baby’s skin is soft fleece. It is not recommended to roll the fleece in as it might cause moisture wicking.
Happy Heinys Prints are made of an inner custom milled fleece and a laminated cotton outer layer. The inner fleece wicks moisture away from baby’s bottoms onto the absorbent insert and keep baby dry and the outer cotton laminated is slightly more breathable than other polyester laminated fabric so great for our hot weather! It will hence also work best for daytime use and might wick if used overnight or for heavy wetters.
Happy Heinys Solids are a 100% polyester laminated outer layer, best for overnight use and/or for heavy wetters. Happy Heinys solids have indeed been baby tested and last 12+ hours at night with absolutely no wicking for most babies!
Happy Heinys pocket diapers are being sold ‘empty’ without the required absorbent insert to be functional. Any insert, booster (doubler), prefold or traditional square nappy would make great inserts depending on the fabric and number of layers used. The more absorbent the insert, the more absorbent the diaper will be!
To wash your pocket diapers, remove the insert from the pocket diaper and wash on hot together with the rest of your diaper pail. Rinse well to ensure all detergent is removed from diapers.
Don’t use fabric softener and avoid natural soaps and liquid detergents as these might leave residue on fleece, causing it to repel urine.
Print Happy Heiny’s pocket diapers rotate frequently. So if you feel tempted by the prints, grab them while you can!
Small size: 8 - 16 lbs / 3.5 – 8 kg (approximately 0 – 8 months)
Medium size: 14 - 25 lbs / 6.5 – 11 kg (approximately 5 – 15 months)
Large size: 23 - 30+ lbs / 10 – 14+ kg (approximately from 12 months onwards)
