Wool is considered as some as a magical fabric: it keeps you warm on cold days but cool on hot days! Hence it is a firm favourite by cloth diapering moms for nights or living in hot regions. The porous wool fibres retain moisture, keeping baby's clothes nice and dry and which makes wool a firm favourite by cloth diapering moms for nights or in hot climate.
As such, it is also recommended for babies with most sensitive skin, with diaper rash or eczema.

Washing Recommendations
Wool does not need so frequent washes and may be washed when soiled or every 2/3 weeks;
Hand or machine washed on appropriate program with mild soap or wool shampoo;
After washing, wrap the cover in a terry towel and squeeze out excess moisture to reduce drying time.
May be relanolised every 3/4 weeks, or even less should you use Imse Vimse wool shampoo to wash your covers, as it already contains some lanoline in it.

Relanolising process
Wash the wool cover before lanolising.
For lanolinsing with Imse Vimse wool lanoline, shake the bottle and dissolve 2-3 tablespoons in 2 litres of hot water.
Let the whole melt and mix nicely and cool down to approximately 30ºC.
Place the wool cover in the water.
Squeeze the diaper cover now and then and leave to stand over night.
Rinse in cold water and add a few drops of vinegar to the rinse water eventually and leave to soak for 10 minutes.
Hang up to dry.
Once the cover is dry, it is ready for use again!
