Product Description
Selected as 1 of the 20 best baby products in the last 20 years in Northern America, the ERGO Baby Carrier was designed in a way to allow a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth.
The Ergo Baby carrier disperses most of the baby's weight between hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other baby carriers’ designs require.
By balancing the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, it also alleviates physical stress for the parent.
ERGO Baby Sport Carrier’s features:
• Can be used from 3/5 months or newborn with additional infant insert, and up to 40 lbs / 18 kgs - around 3 years or beyond (durability/strength tested up to 90 pounds);
• Carry baby on the front, back or hip;
• Adjustable in waist circumference from 30" (76 cm) up to 48" (123 cm), with additional 8" (20.5 cm) with waist extender;
• Detachable sleeping hood with elastic, adjustable in length for growth of baby;
• Padded waist belt to support the lumbar area plus thick padding in the shoulder straps;
• Snapped pocket on back of carrier for sleeping hood storage;
• Cotton Polyester blend for light weight comfort;
• Only available in black.
Attention!:
The Ergo Baby Sport Carrier is made with a longer waist belt (5 extra inches) and shoulder straps (4 extra inches) and as such, will not fit petite or smaller persons.
It is also slightly lighter than the regular Ergo Baby carrier, made in a more-breathable cotton blend which makes the ErgoSport a perfect choice in a relatively hot climate like ours!
Manufacturer's suggested washing instructions:
Use mild detergent on a gentle cycle in the washer and dry until seams are slightly damp.
Spot wash when needed and do not wash frequently.
Avoid frequent washing and harsh detergents which can cause cotton to break down faster.
